…the tools that make creative work faster.

We're looking at a teleprompter that scrolls as you speak.

Pause · 1.5s — smile at camera

Speed up, and the words speed up…

Everything, free on the web

Built for people who talk to camera.

Voice-tracking

The script follows your voice — speak faster and it speeds up, pause and it waits. Powered by on-device speech recognition.

Timed scroll

Prefer a steady pace? Set your words-per-minute and let it glide, with 0.25×–3× speed on the fly.

Mirror mode

Flip the text horizontally (and vertically) for beam-splitter teleprompter rigs and glass reflectors.

Camera recording

Record a take straight from your webcam with the script overlaid — the text never appears in the file.

Keyboard remote

Drive everything hands-free: space to play, arrows for speed, and shortcuts for mirror, voice and record.

Import & export

Bring in .txt, .md and .docx scripts; export to text, Markdown or a clean, printable PDF.

Chapter markers

Add [[chapter: Intro]] and jump between sections with the digit keys — long podcasts and keynotes stay navigable.

Cueline Pro · Mobile

Take it off the desk.

The web app is completely free. The Android app adds a floating overlay teleprompter that reads over any other app while you record, 4K camera capture, Bluetooth remotes and more. With the phone remote, a second phone or any browser on the same Wi-Fi can drive the read: play, speed, text size and line-by-line positioning.

Common questions

Everything readers ask before they open it.

Is Cueline really free?

Yes. The web app is free with no account, no paywall and no ads. The Android app has a one-time Pro purchase for an on-top floating overlay and a few recording extras, but the browser version has every reading feature.

Does Cueline work offline?

After the first load, yes. Cueline runs entirely in your browser; your scripts are stored locally on your device and nothing is sent to a server for the teleprompter to work.

Which languages does voice-tracking support?

Voice-tracking uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, which covers English (US, UK, India, Australia and others), Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Japanese and most other widely-spoken languages. Pick yours from the Prompter's language dropdown.

Can I record video with the script hidden?

Yes. Camera recording captures your webcam only — the script that is overlaid on your screen never appears in the saved MP4, so you get a clean take.

Which browser do I need?

Any modern browser works for reading. Voice-tracking needs the Web Speech API, which is best in Chrome, Edge and Brave; Safari and Firefox fall back to timed scrolling. Camera recording needs MediaRecorder, which all current browsers support.

Does it work on an iPhone or iPad?

The web app opens and reads on iPhone / iPad in Safari. Voice-tracking and some recording formats are not available on iOS Safari because of platform limits — timed scroll and camera preview still work.

Can I use Cueline with a beam-splitter rig?

Yes. Mirror mode flips the text horizontally (and optionally vertically) so a glass reflector in front of your lens shows the script correctly to the reader.

Your first read is 30 seconds away.

No sign-up. Your scripts stay on your device.
